Transportation Specialist

Downtown Recruitment is seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver to support their local palletised collect and deliver work. The ideal candidate will have a CPC Cat C qualification and at least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle. Responsibilities include regular driving, physical work when making deliveries, and ensuring all health and safety regulations are met. The role requires flexibility to support business needs and good communication skills. Working hours are 45 per week, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour for lunch. Contracted overtime on Saturday mornings once per month. Salary is 30-35K depending on experience, with 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. The successful candidate will be proactive in ensuring their CPC training is up to date and will be expected to raise any issues through the appropriate channels in a professional manner.
