Position Overview

The Internal Communications Specialist – Channel Delivery plays a pivotal role in executing colleague engagement initiatives that align with our strategic objectives. This position is essential in fostering understanding and commitment among our colleagues regarding our organizational purpose and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate the execution of internal communication strategies by coordinating messaging across various channels, enhancing colleague awareness and alignment with our mission and objectives. Collaborate with the campaigns team to design and implement impactful communication plans tailored to meet the needs of our business and audience. Distribute content through our internal communication platforms, ensuring it reaches the appropriate audience while adopting a personalized approach. Assist the Internal Communications Manager – Channel Planning in managing the overall internal communications channel strategy. Create supporting materials such as videos, graphics, and animations that adhere to brand standards. Supervise external agencies in the production of communication assets. Provide support outside of regular hours for urgent projects as necessary.

Channel Development

Collaborate with the broader Internal Communications team to refine the campaigns channel strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Oversee daily operations of our Campaigns channels and content distribution with guidance from the Internal Communications Manager – Channel Planning. Empower leaders to engage in meaningful face-to-face interactions with colleagues by managing and enhancing our campaign communication channels. Work alongside the Senior Internal Communications Manager – Continuous Improvement to evaluate the effectiveness of communications, campaigns, and channels, driving ongoing enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in content creation tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) is essential. Strong understanding of internal communication practices and methodologies. Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships across various teams. Highly organized with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
