Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships with clients, delivering excellent client outcomes, and formulating financial strategies to guide clients towards financial independence.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their current and future financial goals, and providing tailored financial advice.
- Financial Planning: Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims and objectives, analyzing information, conducting research, and preparing financial planning reports.
- Business Development: Acquire and develop new business from new and existing clients, professional introducers, and through personal business planning, referrals, and company lead generation programs.
- Marketing and Networking: Optimize the use of marketing opportunities, including social media and networking with introducers and other professionals to develop new business.
- Client Communication: Contact corporate and individual clients to set up meetings, either in-person or virtually via Microsoft Teams, to discuss their financial plans and provide updates.
- Reporting and Administration: Deliver accurate management information as requested and maintain accurate records of client interactions and financial plans.
- Qualifications: Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA-approved equivalent) and CF30 status in accordance with FCA regulations.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, and professionalism, with a clear demonstration of a client-centric approach and dedication to doing the right thing for clients.
- Experience: Experience in networking and attracting new clients through business development and effective business planning to grow a client bank and build relationships with affinity groups, business owners, entrepreneurs, professional, and retail clients.
- Support and Resources: End-to-end in-house client journey and back-office support, including DIS, admin, and para-planning support, with lead generation from our call center.
- Client-Centric Proposition: A trusted brand reputation with compelling values and an ongoing learning and development culture.
- Platform and Technology: A platform to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions, with IT technology through XPlan, our POS system.
