About the Role

As Head of Academic Excellence, you will be responsible for leading and managing the academic vision and strategy of our school. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote academic excellence and ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive academic strategy that aligns with the school's vision and mission
  • Lead and manage a team of educators to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning
  • Monitor and evaluate academic performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote academic excellence
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of governance and accountability

Requirements

  • At least three years' experience as a senior leader in a school or educational setting
  • Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent
  • Proven track record of driving academic excellence and improving pupil outcomes
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents
