Press Brake Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our client's team in Wigston. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Amada press brake machines and ensuring the production of high-quality metal products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Load and adjust tools to perform accurate folds and bends.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to meet production requirements.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep work areas clean and tidy, adhering to Health and Safety procedures.
  • Assist with other tasks as required, utilizing your skills and experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating Amada press brake machines.
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.

Working Hours:

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, up to £14/hour.

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:30pm to 3am, up to £17/hour + £1 for overtime.
