About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in providing high-quality care to residents, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
  • Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in developing and implementing personalized care plans, ensuring residents receive the best possible care.
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, promoting a sense of security and belonging.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of kindness and respect.
Requirements
  • S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
