Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Product Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects associated with maintaining UKAS accreditation for SGS United Kingdom Limited.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the successful delivery of Automotive contracts on time, within budget, and in accordance with internal and accreditation requirements.
  • Maintain and further develop procedures and resources for the profitable delivery of automotive certification.
  • Provide technical expertise, support and training where required to Technical & Accreditation manager, SGS UK automotive auditors, affiliates and line Manager.
  • Project management of key clients as required.
  • Research, develop and maintain Product procedures, quality plans, briefing notes and guidance notes.
  • Assist Certification Managers to ensure appropriate endorsement of Product Qualification Records for the automotive standards.
  • Adhere to the accredited office's responsibilities stated in the supporting office agreements with the relevant affiliates.
  • Liaise as necessary with professional bodies and organizations to protect and develop the company's commercial and technical interests in the sector.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience within Automotive industry.
  • Experience of working under own initiative and in planning and prioritizing workloads.
  • Developing Quality Management systems.
  • Previous Automotive Project Management experience is advantageous.
  • Degree, Post Grad Diploma, Msc or equivalent in relevant subject is advantageous.
