  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documents like layout drawings and equipment specs, updating and tweaking layouts as needed based on feedback or changes in the plant.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance our layouts for better efficiency, cost savings, and safety, working with continuous improvement teams to bring these changes to life.
  • CAD Software Expertise: Leverage CAD software like AutoCAD and Inventor to produce precise technical drawings.
Requirements:
  • Education: A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years as a CAD Draughtsperson, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with experience in facility layout design being a significant plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and a good understanding of manufacturing processes and plant layouts.
  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations, as well as the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
