As a key member of the Home Instead team, the Out of Hours Coordinator will provide critical support to Care Professionals, ensuring they deliver exceptional service to clients. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on providing timely and effective solutions to complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the out of hours telephone line, responding to queries from clients, care professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Source suitable cover for care calls at short notice, ensuring continuity of service.
- Communicate changes to care professional rotas, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
- Maintain accurate records of client notes, including changes to visit times.
- Escalate complaints and concerns to the Care Manager, documenting all interactions.
- Provide weekend and bank holiday support, working collaboratively with the office team.
Requirements
- Ability to work with dignity and respect, treating clients and their property with care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships.
