Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our Baby Room and Nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and stimulating environment for babies to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Supervise a Team: You will lead and supervise a team of nursery practitioners in the baby room, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Plan and Implement Activities: You will plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the development of babies, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met.
  • Ensure a Safe Environment: You will ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for babies, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Build Relationships: You will build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and working collaboratively to meet their needs.
  • Assess and Plan: You will observe and assess the developmental needs of each child, creating individualized care plans to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: You will collaborate with other room leaders and management to maintain high standards of care across the nursery.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a nursery setting, with a focus on caring for babies.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework, and up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
