Role Overview
The successful candidate will oversee various electrical projects, including communal lighting, door entry systems, rewiring, and general maintenance of residential electrical systems. This role will also encompass ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations, as well as managing risk assessments.


Project Scope
As the Electrical Compliance Supervisor, you will lead a team of electrical subcontractors, ensuring that all project tasks are executed efficiently within their designated areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and managing manpower, materials, and workflow.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and health standards.
  • Acting as a deputy for the Project Manager when necessary.


Candidate Requirements
We are looking for individuals with a strong background in electrical supervision or management. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • An 18th Edition electrical qualification or equivalent.
  • A role-appropriate CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
  • Asbestos awareness training.
  • A solid understanding of building refurbishment, particularly in traditional and non-traditional housing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • A valid driver's license.
  • NVQ Level 3 or a City & Guilds electrical trade qualification.


Experience and Memberships
Experience in the social housing sector is highly desirable. Additional qualifications such as CIOB or other construction-related memberships, as well as knowledge of quality assurance processes, will be advantageous.
