We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Security Officer to join our team at OCS Group. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to residents at our National Probation Service Approved Premises (AP). Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety and security of offenders, residents, visitors, colleagues, and the premises.
Key Responsibilities- Security and Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections and patrols of the building to maintain a secure environment.
- Resident Support: Monitor the behavior of high-risk residents and provide support as needed.
- Curfew Management: Ensure the building is locked and secure during curfew periods and confirm the presence and wellbeing of residents overnight.
- Health and Safety: Support a safe working environment for staff, residents, and visitors by adhering to Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Visitor Management: Deal with visitors and telephone calls, and monitor the work of visiting contractors.
- Conflict Resolution: Respond appropriately to abusive or aggressive behavior.
- SIA Security Guarding Licence: Possess a valid SIA Security Guarding Licence.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
