Electrical Maintenance Technician

At Home Group, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our fantastic repairs and maintenance team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll carry out high-quality, right-first-time maintenance across our responsive and void properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs to ensure our properties are safe and well-maintained.
  • Test and inspect electrical installations and systems to identify and rectify any issues.
  • Deliver high-quality and compliant work, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of electrical systems and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
  • Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations, electrical inspection and testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent.
  • Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing, and inspection within housing.
  • Fault finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively.
  • A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
