Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Midweight Video Editor to join our team on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. The ideal candidate will have experience editing branded content for online platforms, working to tight deadlines, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit high-quality video content using Adobe Premiere, working on commercial, social, and marketing projects.
  • Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks at a high level, ensuring creative and engaging visuals.
  • Assist other editors as needed, under the direction and guidance of senior video editors.
  • Support ad-hoc shoot duties, such as data management and technical support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends and share knowledge with the team.
  • Perform color correction and grading, conforming to broadcast and social standards and guidelines.
  • Sources audio tracks and sound mix edits, creating well-mastered tracks across multiple layers.
  • Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and tone requirements for LADbible Group channels.
Organizational Skills
  • Take direction from lead and senior video editors to complete editing tasks.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects to a high standard, adhering to LADbible Video Team workflows and processes.
  • Guide junior members of the video team, teaching best practices and maintaining technical processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of full-time experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher, or brand.
  • Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Passion for social and branded content.
  • Confident in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.

LADbible Group has implemented a blended working model, where most departments work in the office 3 days a week.
