About the Role

As a Lead Sensors and Communications Engineer at Roke, you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions that help our National Security customers achieve their mission objectives. This will involve designing and implementing cutting-edge architectures, leading a team of engineers to deliver solutions, and collaborating with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop full system architectures, from antenna to GUI
  • Develop embedded software using C/C++, MATLAB, Python, and RT Linux
  • Work with FPGA and VHDL/Verilog
  • Understand and experience with 5G protocols
  • Familiarity with other communication protocols, including 2G/GSM, 4G/5G LTE L1 PHY/L2
  • CommEx system engineering
  • Array Processing
  • RF knowledge and skills
