We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our dynamic team as a File Handler focusing on causation claims at Keoghs.
Key Responsibilities- Work within a team of fraud specialists and support staff handling a caseload of litigated RTA Causation files under Delegated Authority.
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and prevent new and emerging risks in the counter-fraud arena.
- Collaborate with colleagues to defeat dishonest motor claims and deliver legal excellence.
- Strong understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes.
- Experience with time recording and billing systems.
- Handle suspected causation cases from litigation through to resolution.
- Conduct detailed review and analysis of evidence throughout the life of the case.
- Identify strategic litigation opportunities and complex cases when appropriate.
- Achieve the best result in litigation, protecting the client's position and ensuring compliance with the court timetable.
Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Agile working arrangements in place, with a requirement to attend the office at least one day a week.
