Job Title: Academic Mentor (KS5)

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term Contract

Location: Enfield

Salary: £105-£110 per day (Term Time Only)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Academic Mentor to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic development and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
  • Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across various subjects - dependant on your subject speciality
  • Support class teachers across different subjects and support students' development academically
  • Assist with University applications & interview prep
  • CV advice
Requirements:
  • Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
  • Aspiring Primary or Secondary Teacher
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond daily for the pupils
  • Confidence is key throughout these roles/School
  • Must be a team player
