About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a key member of our supply chain, you will be responsible for leading a team of planners and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule in SAP, ensuring alignment with manufacturing teams and meeting deadlines.
  • Lead and develop a dynamic planning team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to lead crucial meetings, such as Frozen Zone and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), ensuring schedules and forecasts are aligned.
  • Use SAP to streamline production documentation, track progress, and ensure smooth operations on the shop floor.
  • Provide critical data for effective decision-making on overtime and subcontracting needs, ensuring production stays on track.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement projects, enhancing efficiency and reducing build times, while promoting lean manufacturing principles.
  • Be ready to step up as the Supply Chain Manager when needed, ensuring smooth operations across the board.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience with a solid background in production scheduling, planning, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in SAP, particularly MM (Materials Management) & PP (Production Planning) modules.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive positive change.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, and an ability to analyze KPIs and performance data to make informed decisions.
  • A proactive and innovative approach, with a talent for identifying opportunities to improve processes and lead teams through change.
