**Salary:** £55,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience) + Allowances

**Shifts:** Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 hours

**Contract Type:** Permanent

Our company, Meriden Media, is a leading global provider of industrial gases and engineering solutions. We deliver high-quality gas processing solutions to various industries, including healthcare, chemical, manufacturing, and food & beverage.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Engineer to work out of our main Merseyside site, with regular visits to local satellite sites.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Prepare, issue, monitor, and control Permits to Work, incorporating contractors' risk assessments.
  • Operate the SAP Planned Maintenance System by planning and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Prepare plant for maintenance and inspection as required, by executing physical and electrical isolations.
  • Inspect and check all operating plant and machinery on a regular basis.
  • Diagnose faults on plant and machinery, provide feedback, and raise work orders for rectification.
  • Develop a good understanding of all gas-related queries, problems/performance issues, and effectively support the problem-solving processes.
  • Act as senior person on site for plant emergencies and implement appropriate Site Emergency Plans.
  • Participate in the sites' on-call rota system.

**Requirements:**

  • Qualified or time-served within an Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation discipline.
  • Must have knowledge/experience working within a Chemical or Processing industry.
  • Previous experience within a Facilities Engineer role would be ideal.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work alone/on own initiative.
