About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio-Visual Consultant to join our team at Reed Technology. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality audio-visual systems for large-scale projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design sound insulation and audio-visual systems, including large format LED screens and projection.
  • Create schematic designs to present innovative solutions to clients.
  • Work on sound system design, IPTV/Digital signage, presentation systems, AV control room systems, video production systems, integrated audio solutions, broadcast systems, and room control/booking systems.
  • Understand client AV requirements and produce a client brief.
  • Coordinate projects with the client team and maintain market knowledge of industry-leading technologies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of computational design tools, including Revit.
Requirements
  • Experience in AV design process both independently and in line with RIBA design stages.
  • Proficiency in designing AV systems and AV infrastructure.
  • Ability to create AV system budgets and cost estimates.
  • Strong project coordination skills.
  • Up-to-date with market knowledge of industry-leading technologies.
  • Experience with computational design tools, including Revit, is highly desirable.
