Main Job Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to repair or replace damaged bodywork panels of vehicles in accordance with received instructions or job card details. This may involve working on the chassis and framework as well.

Main Job Tasks
  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing the damaged panels or replacing those that are beyond repair.
  • Operate all necessary equipment including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools following instructions, considering qualification levels, and adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Follow the manufacturers' literature and modification bulletins when applicable to ensure proper repair and replacement of chassis and panelwork.
  • Attend relevant training courses as necessary to stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.
  • Handle all vehicles with utmost care and attention, ensuring that customer satisfaction and care are always maintained.
  • Keep the company's tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition.
Requirements

Preferably with ATA but not mandatory as Time Served Panel Technicians are welcome to apply.

Candidates will have at least 3 years of Panel beating experience, ideally within an Accident Repair Bodyshop environment.
