We are seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Owen Daniels. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across our manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting operational management in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, including reporting and resolving accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Driving a zero-accident/incident culture throughout the business by promoting a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Staying up-to-date with regulatory and legislative requirements, including COSHH, RIDDOR, and SEPA submissions.
  • Coordinating and managing third-party audits and certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Providing regular KPI updates and reports to management, including monthly group measures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislations, including COSHH, RIDDOR, and SEPA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
