As a vibrant and fast-paced food manufacturer, we employ around 13,600 colleagues across 16 manufacturing units and 17 distribution depots across the UK. Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.
Our Boston site employs around 400 colleagues, producing ready-to-eat salads, prepared vegetables, and snacks for major retailers like Coop, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar, and BOL.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out fault finding, problem-solving, and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximize equipment reliability and performance.
- Respond to internal customer needs to maximize production time according to given priorities.
- Comply with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely.
- Experience as a multiskilled maintenance engineer from an FMCG/Food background.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
