Mainstay Facilities is in search of a Scoping Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of Billable Works (Projects) within the designated area. This role is crucial in ensuring that all projects are executed with high standards, delivered punctually, and maintained within budgetary constraints.


As a Scoping Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include managing the delivery of Billable Works in alignment with Government Regulatory and Statutory obligations. You will ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, review Risk Assessments and Method Statements for quality assurance, and ensure timely completion and distribution of all documentation related to Billable Works. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking progress through the Maximo system and establishing effective work plans and budgets to meet program and financial goals while adapting to evolving operational requirements.


Your role will also involve regular consultations with local representatives, the Customer Service Representative, and Site Managers to establish project scope, priorities, and delivery timelines. You will collaborate with stakeholders to manage and mitigate contract risks, control costs, and meet stakeholder expectations through effective communication and sound commercial judgment, ensuring value for money. Furthermore, you will support end users and management in delivering optimal solutions to customer needs, focusing on the Ministry of Defence's carbon reduction objectives, and addressing complaints promptly and satisfactorily.


In this position, you will be responsible for scoping various construction activities, including renovations, refurbishments, new constructions, demolitions, and routine maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess significant experience as a Project Manager within the construction sector, holding a HNC/D qualification in Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.


Experience in planning, directing, and controlling project activities, establishing work scope and priorities, proactive performance management, and problem-solving capabilities are essential.


A valid UK driving license is required, and candidates must be able to obtain SC Clearance to qualify for this position.
