Electrical Lecturer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Electrical Lecturer to join our team at Nescot. As an Electrical Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training to our students, and contribute to the development of our electrical engineering curriculum.

About the Role
  • Teach electrical engineering courses to students at various levels, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs
  • Develop and deliver curriculum content to ensure students meet industry standards and are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their careers
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their learning and development
  • Contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan and goals, and participate in departmental meetings and activities
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions, using a range of teaching methods and technologies
  • Develop and maintain high-quality course materials, including lecture notes, tutorials, and assessments
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including academic advising and mentoring
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven teaching experience in electrical engineering, preferably at a higher education institution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous professional development
