The BCUHB Older Adult Clinical Psychology Service is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide specialist clinical input and support to the Memory Assessment Service MDT and the Older People's Community Mental Health Team (OPMH CMHT).
Main DutiesThis is a permanent post, and the post holder will be expected to deliver tailored individual and group psychological therapies to an Older Adult clinical population, undertake specialist neuropsychological assessment and formulation, and pre- and post-diagnostic support and intervention.
The role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist psychological knowledge, expertise, and consultation to the team. It also involves attendance at clinical MDT meetings, team referral meetings, and service-wide business meetings.
Working for BCUHBBCUHB is the largest health organisation in Wales, providing a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute, and elective hospital services for a population of around 700,000 across North Wales.
