Job Description

At VONQ, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Statistical Leadership to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our biostatistics team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality statistical solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics, with experience in leading teams and managing projects. You will be responsible for developing and implementing statistical methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality and integrity of our statistical outputs.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about innovation, has excellent communication and leadership skills, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the biostatistics team
  • Develop and implement statistical methodologies and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and integrity of statistical outputs
  • Manage projects and teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in biostatistics
Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in Biostatistics or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in biostatistics, with a strong background in leadership and project management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with statistical software and programming languages
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PhD in Biostatistics or a related field
  • Experience in leading teams and managing projects in a biotech or pharmaceutical company
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and software
  • Experience with data visualization and communication
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment
