About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Helicopter Avionics Engineer to join our team at Guidant Global. As a key member of our aviation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rotorcraft fleet.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by nominated LAE Supervisor, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.
  • Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Complete maintenance tasks, including avionic and electrical systems, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard.
  • Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in Av workshop as required, utilizing specialized test equipment.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems, including specialized test equipment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM).
  • Flight/Airport Operations experience, with a strong understanding of Aircraft Line Maintenance procedures.
  • Hold a valid CAA Part 66 B2 Licence, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a certifying role.
  • Experience of Flight Operations and Line Maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP software.
  • Type Rating and experience with H135/H145 rotorcraft.
  • Experience of Airbus Helicopters products.
  • Experience of Military Aviation.
