We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Buyer to join our Fashion and Homeware team in Liverpool. As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for assisting the Buyer in sourcing, planning, and developing product ranges, as well as building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Buyer in sourcing and planning product ranges
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Conduct competitor research and provide detailed trends reports and market analysis
- Raise and progress purchase orders
- Monitor market activity and ensure comparative shopping and relevant documentation is up to date
- Manage and maintain complete sample range and documentation
- Deal with enquiries from internal teams and external departments
- Ensure compliance with departmental legal, quality, and RRP requirements
- Support the Buyer in completing and accuracy of advertising briefs, photography, and store point of sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
