About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Van Driver to join our team at Backline Logistics Support Services Ltd. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering goods to various locations across Dorset, ensuring efficient route planning and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver goods to various locations, adhering to strict timeframes and delivery schedules.
  • Perform multi-drop deliveries, utilizing your knowledge of the local area and road networks to optimize routes.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, both personally and with the company vehicle.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Valid Category B driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • No unspent criminal convictions and authorized to work in the UK.
  • At least 1 year of commercial van driving experience.
  • Experience with multi-drop deliveries, pallet collections, and deliveries.
  • Good knowledge of the Dorset area and road networks (familiarity with the local area is a plus).
Benefits
  • Competitive salary starting from £13 per hour (equivalent to £585 per week).
  • Minimum of 9 hours paid per shift, with overtime and double-time opportunities available.
