Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our PVC manufacturing operations in Lenwade. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, working closely with production teams to achieve service excellence and driving continual improvement through the use of key production metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee PVC Manufacturing Operations: Ensure the efficient and effective operation of our PVC manufacturing processes, including the management of production schedules, inventory, and quality control.
- Collaborate with Production Teams: Work closely with production teams to achieve service excellence, including the development and implementation of process improvements and the identification of areas for cost reduction.
- Utilize Production Metrics: Use key production metrics to drive continual improvement, including the analysis of production data and the identification of opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:
- Production or Manufacturing Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a production or manufacturing role, ideally in the fenestration or building products industry.
- Resilient and Flexible Approach: A resilient and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Strong Coaching and Influencing Skills: Strong coaching and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire production teams to achieve service excellence.
- Lean Manufacturing Experience: Experience of lean manufacturing principles and practices is an advantage.
Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, plus car allowance.
- Contract: Permanent contract.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Location: Lenwade (with occasional travel to Stonehouse).
