Senior Staff Nurse

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Senior Staff Nurse to join our newly established Paediatric Hospital@Home service at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to children with acute nursing needs in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Identify patients suitable for Hospital@Home and ensure a rapid discharge from ED or the ward.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients, including reviewing re-admissions and identifying potential reasons for re-admission.
- Work closely with acute teams to ensure patient safety is paramount.
- Develop bespoke care pathways for children requiring nursing care, avoiding extended lengths of stay and admission.

Our community services include a dedicated 0-19 service for children and young people in Enfield, providing a structured framework for delivering key interventions to support the health and wellbeing of children and families.
Requirements- RSCN or RN (Child) qualification.
- Relevant first-level degree or master's in an appropriate subject or working towards.
- Recognised teaching/mentorship qualification.
- Excellent clinical nursing skills pertinent to the role.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
- Assertively manage situations which may be complex and involve conflict or crisis.
