We are seeking a skilled and proactive Warehouse Assistant to join our logistics operations team at Reed. This role is crucial to the smooth running of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate handling of goods and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking, Unloading, and Receiving: Accurately pick, unload, and receive orders within the warehouse.
  • Dispatch and Loading: Conduct dispatch and loading of goods efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain correct stock levels and assist in inventory management.
  • Warehouse Environment: Ensure the warehouse environment is safe, clean, and presentable at all times.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Reporting: Report any operational issues to the warehouse manager or, in their absence, to the Managing Director.
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 17:00 (with a 30-minute lunch break)
  • Total of 42.5 hours per week
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
  • Ability to work proactively and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lifting as required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the role.
  • FLT Licence
