Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at The Advocate Group. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for partnering with operational colleagues in supply chain, procurement, and logistics to advise on costing and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting & Business Partnering:
- Review COGS monthly to ensure accuracy, with a particular focus on indirect COGS.
- Responsible for quarterly gross profit margin analysis, owning the COGS analysis and coordinating with the wider FP&A team to incorporate revenue drivers.
- Support the Procurement team with tracking, analyzing, and forecasting commodity, packaging, and toll fee costs across 28+ plants across EMEA.
- Business Partner the EMEA Transport and US-based Finance Cost teams to accurately account for freight and storage costs.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Drive the EMEA annual budget and quarterly forecast process for COGS and Logistics, coordinating with Operations and the US-based Cost team.
- Other:
- Contribute to advancements in S&OP process.
- Support the Operations team with advancing their financial acumen.
Requirements:
- Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- SAP.
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain partner role.
- Able to work independently and take the initiative to make changes.
- Collaborative working style, great at building relationships.
