Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Physiotherapy Out-patient upper limb rehabilitation service in conjunction with Team Lead Physiotherapists.
- Develop and implement in-service development programs to support a proactive team approach to hand and upper limb rehabilitation.
- Provide training to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and participate in quality improvement (QI) projects to enhance the orthopaedic pathway.
- Collaborate with the Orthopaedic Service to manage trauma, elective, surgical, and non-surgical upper limb patients.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience and post-graduate education in hand and upper limb rehabilitation, including splinting and wound management.
- Ability to participate in in-service development and support a proactive team approach.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to work effectively with the MDT and QI projects.
