Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planning Specialist to join our team at Vanderlande Industries. As a key member of our Airports and Parcels Operations Team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating complex projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and supply chain, to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Lead project planning activities, including scope definition, schedule development, and resource allocation.
  • Provide expert Primavera 6 knowledge and support to project teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and project sponsors.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project planning and delivery.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in project planning, with at least 3 years in a senior planning role.
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera 6 and strong Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of the NEC process and technical planning techniques.
  • Experience throughout the project life cycle, including tender to completion.
