Iconic Resourcing is partnering with a leading firm in the private sector to expand their tax team. We are seeking a Taxation Manager or Senior Manager to join their team in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level technical and tax planning advice to clients, working with other team members, partners, and client relationship managers as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of business tax, personal tax, and capital taxes.
- Supervise and manage the personal tax return process.
- Manage billing and WIP.
- Monitor the tax compliance position using tax administration software, keeping internal control records up to date and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
- Participate in tax advisory and planning work on clients and other ad-hoc projects as they arise.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring a high-quality tax compliance service.
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of UK tax legislation.
- Project and time management skills, with experience working to tight deadlines and budgets.
- Ability and interest in understanding the client's business.
- Confidence in client-facing situations.
- IT literacy, with a good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
