Kennedys is seeking a dedicated Associate to join its Professional Liability division, focusing on construction-related claims and coverage advisory. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to be part of our esteemed and expanding team.

Team Structure

Our distinguished team of Construction Professional Indemnity experts manages a wide array of disputes and offers intricate coverage guidance to our clients in the insurance sector.

Clientele

  • Insurers and Reinsurers
  • Architects
  • Contractors
  • Engineers
  • Monitoring Surveyors
  • Property Managers
  • Valuers
  • Sub-contractors

Casework

  • A diverse range of construction Professional Indemnity disputes and intricate coverage advisory.

Qualifications Required

  • 1-4 years' experience as a UK Qualified Solicitor/Foreign Qualified Lawyer or CILEX qualified with relevant expertise*
  • Familiarity with professional indemnity policies and coverage matters in the Construction Professional Indemnity domain
  • Experience in managing high-value construction claims
  • Proven track record in assisting and supervising significant cases within a team setting
  • Prior client interaction and participation in business development activities
  • Experience in arbitration, adjudication, negotiation, and court proceedings in the TCC.
