Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Tax Strategy

  • Lead a team of senior tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Develop and implement global tax strategies that align with the company's financial objectives and comply with international tax laws and regulations.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where the company operates, including the US and European market.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and external advisors.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company's operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, postgraduate or equivalent is preferred.
  • Leadership and background in finance with significant tax compliance and advisory experience for global/multinational companies.
  • Deep international knowledge of tax legislation and accounting principles, especially in the USA, Europe, and UK.
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving strategic goals and improving business outcomes.
  • Skilled in explaining complicated tax issues clearly to those without a tax background.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, and tax rules/laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to challenges.
  • Work independently with a high level of accountability.
  • Advanced or Fluent in English (both written and spoken), ensuring effective communication with international colleagues.
