Job Summary

Discover is seeking a highly skilled Principal Application Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and designing solutions for our application software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using multiple programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Participate in strategic technology decisions and contribute to the development of technical roadmaps.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Discover remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, big data frameworks, and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
