Position Summary:
We are currently in search of a Mechanical Assembly Technician to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive overhauls of mechanical systems within a controlled workshop setting.
2. Engage in mechanical assembly, disassembly, inspection, and testing of equipment.
3. Interpret technical drawings to identify parts, assemble, and/or repair mechanical systems.
4. Uphold high standards of quality and operational efficiency.
5. Demonstrate versatility in skills to perform testing, basic wiring, and mechanical assembly tasks.
6. Ensure a clean and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety protocols.
7. Complete necessary technical documentation throughout the work process.
8. Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Candidate Profile:
1. A minimum of five years of experience in mechanical assembly, ideally with rotating machinery, is essential.
2. Proven ability to adhere to stringent quality standards, particularly within ISO9001 and RISAS frameworks.
3. Ideally, candidates should be time-served apprentices, possessing relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering.
4. Familiarity with safety protocols, including Risk Assessments and COSHH Assessments, is advantageous.
5. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, such as 5S and the identification of waste, is beneficial but not mandatory.
6. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills is essential.
7. A flexible mindset to accommodate customer requirements is necessary.

Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £34,000, along with a performance-related bonus (up to 7%), private medical insurance, private dental coverage, and a 6% employer pension contribution.
