Turner Lovell is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead the delivery of HVDC projects across the UK and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and deliver the HVDC engineering scope of work, ensuring adherence to the global time schedule and coherency of links between engineering activities and other project functions.
- Plan and manage technical interfaces, including exchange interface sheets with partners, customers, and third-party contractors.
- Accountable for project delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and budget for PDG scope.
- Provide leadership and support to the project engineering team, ensuring the delivery of the reference solution and agreed gaps in accordance with project technical specifications.
- Assess risks, including risk mitigation plans, and maintain an up-to-date risk register.
- Engineering degree level or equivalent education in Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in a position of Project Engineering Manager, managing medium-sized projects across several project contexts in EPC type environments.
- Mastering of involved discipline (process, tools, technical aspects) and successful experience in management of multi-disciplinary teams with multiple interfaces.
- Fluent in English and demonstrated presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate complex messages.
