We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Endoscopy Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team. At St George's Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, we prioritize exceptional patient care and are committed to fostering a supportive environment for our staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures.
- Support the Endoscopy Nurse Manager in ensuring the delivery of outstanding nursing services and effective resource management.
- Oversee the daily operations of the Endoscopy unit, ensuring smooth coordination and management of patient flow.
- Facilitate educational and training opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their professional development.
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills within a busy and innovative specialty.
- Engage in effective communication with team members and patients to ensure a collaborative care approach.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of one year of clinical experience in endoscopy.
- Possession of ENB998 or equivalent teaching qualifications is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice in nursing is required.
