We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to fill a vital role in support of a key Defence Nuclear Sector Client. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the client with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the client with daily portfolio support to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Review lessons learned to improve processes and outcomes.
- Ensure all procedures align with client standards.
- Support enabling programs like Digital, OCP, and Nuclear Baseline.
- Lead a culture of openness and teamwork across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to share resources and create synergies across client programs.
- Bring in external expertise to enhance portfolio management.
- Serve as the main point of contact for resource performance, quality, and personnel issues.
- Represent the consultant in managing contracts, communications, and risk with the client.
This role requires a strong focus on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure the successful delivery of the client portfolio.
Requirements:
- Strong focus on stakeholder engagement, project management expertise, and commercial acumen.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of project management, including how various elements integrate and contribute to overall success.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts is highly desirable.
- Ability to knowledgeably lead meetings, especially for Early Warnings and other critical discussions.
- Strong commercial understanding to drive successful outcomes.
