Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our award-winning organization, the National Compliance Manager (Transport) will play a crucial role in ensuring that our logistics operations adhere to the highest standards of compliance and safety. This position reports directly to the National Fleet & Compliance Manager and involves overseeing compliance across all transport functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fleet Oversight: Implement and manage Fleet & Compliance management systems across the organization. Collaborate with the National Fleet & Compliance Manager on various fleet management initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transport operations meet regulatory standards. Conduct regular compliance audits, develop training programs for drivers, and address any compliance issues that arise.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the fleet and administrative teams. Provide coaching and development opportunities for your direct reports to enhance performance and establish succession plans.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the fleet budget, monitor spending, and identify cost-saving measures. Analyze compliance performance and report findings, highlighting areas for improvement.

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in transport operations.
  • Background in transport or fleet compliance management.
  • Strong understanding of transport compliance regulations.
  • Experience managing budgets and driving financial accountability within teams.
  • National CPC certification is essential.
  • A commitment to safety, compliance, and ongoing improvement.
  • Preferably, experience in central transport functions.
  • Technically skilled with a solid understanding of transport management systems.
  • Dedicated to fostering continuous improvement through effective processes and procedures.
