Position: Senior Sales Consultant for HVAC Solutions

Geographical Coverage: North East region, ideally from a central location to cover areas from Newcastle to Leeds

Compensation Package: Base salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000, complemented by a commission structure of £15,000 and an additional bonus of £5,000

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage in field sales activities, promoting a range of products including chillers, boilers, portable air conditioning units, air handling systems, heating solutions, heat exchangers, buffer tanks, and pumps.
  • Focus on expanding business with industrial end users and trade contractors, including M&E contractors, facilities management firms, plumbing and heating specialists, refrigeration experts, and air conditioning service providers.
  • Set objectives to increase sales from £250,000 to a target range of £500,000 to £750,000.
  • Primarily responsible for generating new business while also managing a pipeline of incoming inquiries.
  • Typical order values range from £10,000 to £20,000, with project timelines varying from emergency responses of 24-48 hours to planned projects extending up to 6 months.
  • Develop relationships with a select number of national contractors who are not currently utilizing the company's offerings.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in field sales within the equipment rental sector is preferred.
  • Open to candidates with an engineering background in chillers or boilers looking to transition into sales.
  • A proactive and ambitious individual with a dynamic personality.
  • Familiarity with the following products is advantageous: chillers, boilers, portable air conditioning units, air handling systems, heating solutions, heat exchangers, buffer tanks, and pumps.
  • Experience selling to contractors in the M&E, facilities management, plumbing and heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning sectors is preferred.
  • A strong cultural fit for a flexible and enjoyable work environment is essential.
