About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join our team at Enfield Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessment, care management, and social work services in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable individuals.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and establish service eligibility, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary support and resources.
  • Manage, monitor, and review care plans in coordination with other workers and agencies, ensuring that individuals receive seamless and effective support.
  • Act as a care coordinator under the Care Programme Approach, providing guidance and support to individuals and their families.
  • Work in accordance with Council's Financial Regulations, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  • Utilize information management systems for recording and retrieving data, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date information is available at all times.
  • Receive professional supervision and assessment against agreed standards, ensuring that individual performance is consistently high.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team duties and duty rotas, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Undertake safeguarding adult enquiries and necessary training, ensuring that individuals are protected from harm and abuse.
  • Comply with professional code of conduct and relevant policies, ensuring that individual behavior and practice are consistently high.
  • Stay updated on legislation, policies, and guidance related to mental health and vulnerable persons, ensuring that individual practice is informed and effective.
  • Fulfill additional duties as directed by line or senior managers, contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.
