Radiographer Mammography Specialist

We are seeking two enthusiastic and motivated Radiographers to undertake Mammographic Breast Imaging for both Screening and Symptomatic services across our two sites, Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Hospital Burton.
About the RoleAs a Radiographer Mammography Specialist, you will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team and will be able to display excellent interpersonal skills with a caring patient-centred and flexible approach to work.
Main Duties- Applicants must have DCR or Degree in Radiography and be HCPC Registered.
- Due to the nature of the role, there is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that this position is restricted to female applicants only.
- The role will involve working cross-site across all of our hospitals and mobile units.
- PG Cert Mammography.
We are looking for Radiographers with previous experience of mammography and experience in a healthcare setting.

We have a Radiographic team comprising of Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners that provide symptomatic clinics and a screening service as part of the NBSS (National Breast Screening Service) covering Southern Derbyshire and South East Staffordshire.
The department includes services at the Royal Derby Hospital, Queens Hospital Burton, screening at London Road Community Hospital as well as screening at satellite community sites based in health centres and community hospitals across Southern Derbyshire and South East Staffordshire.
