Job Summary:

The Government of Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Kimberley region. As a key member of our mental health service, you will provide specialist mental health care to clients and their families in a recovery-focused and trauma-informed approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced mental health nursing assessments and interventions during triage of new referrals and care coordination of active clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive mental health services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing or a related field.
  • Experience in providing mental health services to diverse populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
