Position Overview:
This role is integral to Pharmiweb's Biostatistics team. We are in search of a skilled statistician/biostatistician to enhance our Clinical Biostatistics efforts within Global Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define drug development inquiries, evaluate endpoint feasibility, and formulate statistical strategies to tackle these inquiries.
  • Design clinical trials and interventional studies to collect and analyze data, ensuring accurate interpretation of results to guide decision-making.
  • Co-author clinical study protocols and statistical analysis plans, conducting statistical evaluations for both interim and final reports.
  • Provide training to non-statistical colleagues and contribute to the development of new processes and infrastructure.
  • Engage with professional associations, conferences, and publications to influence the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory landscape.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess a PhD or equivalent in statistics/biostatistics with over 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, or a Master's degree with more than 7 years of relevant experience. A solid understanding of drug discovery and development, along with the ability to apply statistical concepts effectively, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and collaborative skills in a cross-functional setting, and must be adept at working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in statistical analysis methodologies, clinical trial design, and statistical software such as R or SAS is required.

Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $124,000 to $202,800.
